If...

In the figure of the first and early distinguished Nobel´s British of Literature Rudyard Kipling, we can find many of the characteristics of  Chiron´s archetype "The Wounded Healer" and if we strive to study and absorb carefully the renowned poem "If ..." we can find much of the Chironic´essence captured between those words, an ode to life and existence but much more important is a veil that runs out to show a portion of the poem´s author own soul, a real character and a philosophy halfway between the world of gods and mortals.

Carefully observing and analyzing his birth chart, we have a chart rich in nuances and synergies, for being the Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Pluto on the cusp of some houses, giving those houses a singular energy preeminence and prominence, which gives the native a strong flow and stream of potential to develop, Saturn in House III (The importance of intellectual and artistic development)  The Sun and Jupiter -Conjunction- in House V (A strong and sometimes exaggerated sense of their own possibilities and especially overflow Ego, and the importance of children in the life of the Native), Neptune in House VIII (Great regenerative capacity through transcendence and very spiritual meaning of death is considered as a physical act too) , reaching Pluto in the Ninth House (Ambition for recognition in the high intellectual and educational spheres as well as deep changes in higher education, foreign travel and contact with other cultures).

Then it is his Parental Axis (Houses IV / X - IC / MC), and we know the importance and "gravity" that covers the birth chart of any individual this axis, in the present case is fed up to five planets, with four of them personals (Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars), in short gentlemen we are at the birth chart of an individual with a presence and surely an overwhelming personality, someone who allowed himself the luxury to reject a large institutional recognitions (Duchies, Titles, specially Merits and Knighted), accepting only the recognition that his work was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature (Pluto House Cusp IX).

But if we are going to detail, the hue, to the singular we see the more personal axis which symbolizing the native and his way of relating to the immediate environment (Asc/Desc - House I/VI), is certainly uninhabited except by the presence of Chiron in House VII, a few degrees of Desc, since this is (Chiron) the only element that is fueling this important focus zone or area of influence in a birth chart, we can conclude that Chiron´s energy , made a substantial influence on the author's life and had much to do with the way he related to others, perhaps the first and hard lessons of Chiron, were learned when at the tender age of five suffered physical abuse from one of his nannies...

Certainly Chiron, had a lot of influence in much of his work, but especially in the earlier poem mented, a real gift of Wisdom and Learning, which has been a landmark for more than a century touching the soul of millions readers from different generations all around the world.
